About
Born and raised on Sydney’s northern beaches, Glenda began her painting career at the University of Wollongong, earning a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Distinction).
Her career has woven together roles as a Professional Visual Artist, Art Teacher, and Art Educator at Arthur Boyd’s Bundanon Trust.
She has exhibited widely in both solo and group exhibitions and her paintings are held in private collections across Australia and internationally.
In 2020, Glenda and her husband David (a graphic designer) made a new home on the Sunshine Coast.
Her recent work revisits the images and emotions of times past. Centered on the human figure, these paintings explore relationships, memory, and the quiet elegance of mid-century life. Stylish fashion, poised gestures, and atmospheric scenes linger like moments caught on canvas – pausing gently, holding both beauty and mystery.
